- Assisting fire, medical, and rescue services

- Serving court documents, subpoenas, and warrants

- Assisting the courts with security and enforcement

- Conducting investigations into criminal activity
- Working closely with the Nebraska State Patrol and other agencies
- Gathering evidence and supporting prosecution
